What We Stand For
Quality and Accessible Education for All
Education is the foundation of our future, and the Oyo State Labour Party is dedicated to ensuring that every child receives a quality education, regardless of their family’s income or background.
We will work to provide universal basic education by ensuring that all children have access to free, quality schooling, improving infrastructure, providing learning materials, and hiring qualified teachers.

Additionally, we will focus on technical and vocational training to equip students with practical skills that align with the demands of modern industries, ensuring that our graduates are job-market ready.
​Healthcare for All
Good health is the foundation of a productive society, and the Oyo State Labour Party believes that access to affordable, quality healthcare is a basic human right.

We will maintain a state-wide health insurance scheme to make healthcare affordable and accessible, especially for the most vulnerable populations.
Additionally, we will prioritize maternal and child health services to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates and prevent avoidable health crises.
Finally, we will invest in the welfare of healthcare workers, providing them with the training, support, and fair compensation they deserve for their vital role in society.
Infrastructure Development & Urban Renewal
Oyo State deserves modern infrastructure that drives economic growth and improves the quality of life for all. We are committed to investing in infrastructure projects that promote development and ensure no community is left behind.
We will enhance roads and transportation networks, connecting urban and rural areas, and explore alternative transportation options such as rail and public transport systems to reduce congestion and improve mobility.

We will also focus on energy and electricity by investing in renewable energy solutions and expanding electricity access to rural areas, ensuring reliable power for every household. Additionally, we will develop affordable housing projects and upgrade slums and informal settlements to provide decent living conditions for all citizens.
Agriculture & Rural Development
Agriculture remains the backbone of Oyo State's economy, and the Oyo State Labour Party is committed to making it a key driver of wealth creation and food security. We will provide support for farmers by offering access to loans, modern farming equipment, and training on innovative agricultural techniques to boost productivity.

In addition, we will focus on rural development by ensuring that rural communities have access to essential services such as healthcare, education, clean water, and good roads, ensuring that no part of Oyo State is left behind in our push for progress.
Social Justice & Equity
The Oyo State Labour Party envisions a society where everyone is treated equally and fairly, and we are committed to promoting social justice and equity through policies that protect the rights and dignity of all citizens, particularly vulnerable groups. We will work to achieve gender equality by eliminating discrimination, supporting women in leadership, and ensuring equal access to opportunities.

Job Creation
We will work to create new jobs through targeted investments in agriculture, technology, and manufacturing. By supporting small and medium-sized businesses and encouraging local entrepreneurship, we will boost employment opportunities across Oyo State.
Youth Empowerment
We will launch skill development programs and vocational training centers to equip our youth with the skills they need to succeed in a rapidly changing job market.
